Back from 3 weeks in the Murray heatwave, caravan is an absolute gem. Tows well, plenty of cupboard space, fridge is a ripper and the electrical system is second to none! Carafan unit is a must and the aircon worked overtime. Gwen loved the ability to press a button and cook a bit of toast or plug in her hairdryer. Even did a load of washing! Yeah Mick it’s a winner, the whole van balances out pretty well.
We’ve owned our Wallaroo Caravan for almost 2 years and we love it so much we’ve named it Wally2, the lithium battery system is fantastic it is just a press of a button and we can switch between 12volt and 240volt, my personal favourite thing is being able to stop on the side of the road and fire up the coffee machine and have a good coffee whenever we want. Tom’s favourite thing about Wally2 is the ease in which it tows he says “its balanced perfectly, it doesn’t matter if you are driving on dirt or bitumen I can just hook it up and go knowing the van will follow along without any worries”. Our first major trip was the big loop where we free camped almost every night, although the location and the views changed nearly every day the comfort of Wally2 made it like a home away from home so we were glamping not just camping. The Gibb River Road was our first major off-road experience in Wally2, and although the road was extremely rough and at times we had to travel at 20klm an hour Wally 2 came through with flying colours. We’ve travelled with Wally2 to many places since we’ve owned it and we mostly free glamp wherever we go. We’ve discovered a lot of new places where we wouldn’t have gone with a different van, we don’t need to think about booking ahead into caravan parks and usually find beautiful spots with plenty of room around us to glamp where ever we end up. We are very happy with the quality and finish of Wally2 and get a lot of people commenting on it. The after sales service is exceptional, if we’ve had a problem or weren’t sure on anything we’ve just given Mick a call and he has been able to sort out our issue.
